Why Did Bob Novak Really Walk Off the Set of CNN?

I have to wonder why an experienced and seasoned TV pesonality like Bob Novak walked off the set of CNN last week. Was James Carville being too hard on the guy? I don't think so.
They have worked together for many years and they know how to stand each other.

Afterall, journalists socialize with each other and with politicans. So what was said or not said to make Bob walk off in a huff. Is he upset about the Valerie Plame incident? He should be.
Does he think he'll be indicted? Does he know too much?

I think he was waiting to be asked not to walk out. And no one said oh don't walk off Bob.
If you look at the repeats of it, you'll see that he waited a few seconds and when they didn't beg him to stay, he walked off.

It is absolutely unacceptable to do this. What do you think? Should we give him a break? CNN didn't care for it either. Maybe he is just cracking up.

Maybe it's just ego? Interesting that he paused for dramatic effect before walking off. I didn't see it. How did the others react after he was gone? At what point in the show was he in? When did this happen?

Every person in media knows that you never walk off a set! The guy is definitely losing it. He has lost his mind maybe years ago.
The blogger before me should just turn on the tv set and see rerunns of it all the time.It was with James Carville on CNN afternoon.

But the domino effect is starting with him They will all fall.

Didn't see it...must have missed that one. Kinda unprofessional. Can we talk about publishing? Books? OR better yet, if there's anyone out there who is a publicist, the question would be, how would you handle this debacle? What would be your advice for clients who are beligerant guests or who walk of the set?(and god help you if they do!).

I had a client who walked off a show, but did it during a break. The other guest was talking over him and he didn't want to be a jerk. But I would never approve of a client walking off a set.
