WAKE UP AMERICA
It is disturbing that the US has a strategy of adapting in Iraq. To what are we adapting?
How is that different than Stay the Course? Why should our young people be sitting ducks
for the Iraqi's? And why should the elections have anything to do with this failed fight?
Over 60% of the American people are against this war now. We are waking up as a country.
and we should start bringing home our troops. Whe we do there will be more peace in the world.
The question is how and when do we begin. Bush is in the Lyndon Johnson phase of his presidency.Only he doesn't have a draft so he is safe for now from huge marches and demonstrations.
Our country is waking up, but it is not a morning country. it is taking a while.
Where is the voice of America?

It's August and people are on vacation. Our way of life isn't really changing except for inconvenience at the aiport.
When will we have to wake up?
Maybe at the polls.
We should stay the course. Our patriotic soldiers aren't there for nothing. They are changing history nd accomplishing much.
we should stay out of it.I don't want to go over there and fight for them. They can keep this up for years.
This administrtion is murderous, arrogant, secretive and incompetent. According to the president, we are in Iraq for the foreseeable future, even as that country's corrupt leadership bites the hand that feeds it, condemns Western culture, refuses to recognize Israel, and chooses the Qu'ran as its political/social core. Our administration, meanwhile, has single-handedly allowed radicalism to explode in the Middle East, has encouraged more hatred of the West, has sullied our reputation and prestige around the world, and will leave behind sociopolitical wreckage that will take decades--if not generations--to repair. Yes, bring the troops home. And while wer're at it, let's focus on the Katrina-like chaos our culture has been forced to endure over the past five year.
The last comment is correct. Why should we have to endure this administration? Now they are calling anyone who disagrees with them Nazi sympathizers. I hope the country does wake up.
