The role of the media in the indictments

Every night on cable news, the White House is scrutinized. The big question is will Cheney be the next one to be indicted. This is history repeating itself. In the Nixon era, VP Agnew went first. He pleaded Nolo Contendre and disappeared. And then we know what happened after that.

Now we see Scooter going and speculation that Cheney is next after Rove of course. People just don't like snitches. Especially when a covert CIA operative is involved. And it's against the law.

We are seeing books such as War Against Truth and War and Destiny and many others coming out in question of the war in Iraq.

Finally the media is discussing this in detail. As they should. People need to be informed whether they are lefties or righties. Information is good for everyone. Let's hope that the media will keep on reporting and discussing this and as we find out more and more facts, the truth will prevail.

The news media has a chance now to get it right and show the real reason for the war. How we were mislead and other things this bad administration has done.I think they may be forced to be real journalists now.

Wow. Interesting conversation. While I don't disagree with the concept of media getting involved, or reporting on indictments, we wouldn't be having this conversation if it were 1998 and Clinton were in office and he and Hilary were under scrutiny for their slew of definitely indictable activities. They had enough scandal, illegalities and improprieties (that ended up costing the life of at least one man) going on over there for Margaret Truman to write a new White House novel -- and it wouldn't be fiction. Gotta love the fair-weather righteousness of the left.

Why is Clinton's name in this and Bush 's name isn't. Clinton was investigated and they couldn't find anyting so get over it.

Also Bush and his cronies who are completely incompetent and greedy, are responsible for 2000 of our people's deaths and for 45,000 people who have loss of limbs etc. Also oh...150,000 civilian deaths in Iraq. But who's counting when you can blame Clinton. If we could only have the prosperity under this regime that we had with the Clintons.

But the Bushies are being uncovered.

Get new rhetoric because people are on to this government. 65 percent say he is doing a terrible job.Who needs food stamps when you can give more money to the rich, Who needs medicaid wehen the rich can get richer.

This doesn't seem like a Christian country when you love the fetus and hate the child.

Take from the poor and give to the rich that's the motto.

But all the bad deeds of this group are now being discovered finally, and they are squirming.

THANK THE LORD!!!!!

People are FINALLY waking up. It took long enough. But let's all try to band together for truth, for justice and for the good of the country instead of this becoming just another right vs. left thing. I don't want to hear anything else about Clinton. He did some immoral things but it's time to move on and GO FORWARD in this country for once. Something we haven't really seen in a long time.
